Hungary has the highest incidence rate of severe oral diseases in Europe and ranks third in the world in terms of the number of people with oral cancer per capita. The research group analyzes the statistical data of patients receiving inpatient treatment for oral diseases between 2015 and 2022 based on specific ICD codes, using a nationwide database. Based on the aggregated data, the research group analyzes trends, calculates raw frequencies, and conducts territorial comparisons through standardization.
