At the Campus Festival 2026, the One Health Institute of the UD Faculty of Health Sciences offers a unique scientific experience with the programme "The Secret Life of Our Hands" for all visitors.
During the programme - using microbiological culturing - visitors can visualize which types of microorganisms live on their hands and evaluate the efficacy of their handwashing technique. By taking samples from their fingertips, participants get a first-hand insight into the invisible aspects of daily hand hygiene routine.
Participation offers an educational experience for all ages.
