- Age Platform Europe
AGE Platform Europe is a European network of organisations of people over 50, which aims to represent and promote the interests of the 200 million elderly people in the European Union and to raise awareness of the issues that affect them most.
AGE carries out a range of policy and outreach activities to put older people's issues on the EU agenda and to support networking between elderly groups. Their guiding principles are that a change of mindset is needed to achieve an inclusive European society for all ages and to promote solidarity between generations in a way that recognizes the contribution of the elderly to society.
The Gerontology Coordination Research Centre represents Hungary in the AGE Platform Europe.
