At the graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Debrecen, more than five hundred graduating students received their diplomas. From this point on, they will be able to work in the future in a variety of fields as bio-informaticians, rehabilitation specialists, social workers and physiotherapists. In addition to handing out the diplomas at the graduation ceremony, the faculty representatives also recognized, honored and awarded the most outstanding students, lecturers and employees of the faculty.

The 2026 Neuroinnovation Summit and the 11th NeurotechEU General Assembly was held as a two-day meeting in the Swedish capital city. The University of Debrecen was represented by a five-member delegation at this event hosted by Karolinska Institutet. The most significant message of the meeting for the University of Debrecen was the unanimous support of the founding partners and the rectors for the institution’s strategic role and its full reintegration in the future.
At the DOCIDOH international conference, experts discussed the effects and dangers of pathogens lurking in nature and ready to strike, methods of defense and prevention, and the professional challenges associated with these issues. At the international conference organized by the University of Debrecen, several of the institution’s faculties and institutes shared their innovative ideas in connection with the topic.
The discussion held in Debrecen between the Vice Dean of Taipei Medical University and the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Debrecen focused on the results achieved so far and the tasks ahead in the development of a new type of drug that is hoped to bring a breakthrough in the chemotherapy treatment of cancerous lesions.
